Bitten -- and not by Sarah Jessica Parker

Today, about an hour after we came home from church, Tyler noticed that Lizette had a bite mark on her leg (she was trying to give it kisses, but couldn't reach it.) We determined that she must have been bitten while she was in Nursery during church. I called one of the Nursery Leaders (one of my friends) right away, just to let them know that someone bit Lizette. I was sad that someone bit her, but it is what it is. I just want to make sure that they watch out next week to make sure that it doesn't happen again. The Nursery Leader said that she did not notice that Lizette got bitten, because if they saw who bit her they would have sent the kid to go be with their parents. I am glad that Lizette is such a trooper. I took this picture 4.5 hours after church. You can still see the teeth marks perfectly. Poor Lizette.

That is really sad, Candace. Isaac has been bitten before, and who knows one of my kids has probably bitten other kids. When Isaac was bitten, I was in the church kitchen and could hear him crying, no bite, no bite. How sad! But little Lizette is such a sweetie, no one is supposed to be mean to her. You tell me who it is and I'll take care of them. :-)

Are you sure it wasn't a bat? I just heard this thing that if a bat bites you, you won't feel a thing, but you'll die like a day or so later. Not to freak you out... although that really does look like kid teeth.

At least we know it wasn't Luke... that's awful though. Makes you happy you don't have her in daycare, huh?

Man oh man. I hope Lizette's arm fells and looks better today. At least she wasn't the biter!

I am so upset for you! Maybe if you know all the parents of the children you can just put it out there that someone is biting, and make sure that everyone knows...maybe they can all just keep an eye on their kids for bite marks. I know it isn't the end of the world, but I think I would be pretty upset.

My first reaction was "was Lizette around my kids lately?" I hope she feels better. What a tough cookie. Maybe if she didn't taste so good no one would bite her.

I think Kelly is right. I just don't give baths a few days before church so it won't happen to Chloe. She moves towards a toy in nursery and the kids either keel over or run for the hills. There is never a problem.
